The Abundant Fig Tree
Fig Trees enjoy being in a cramped space – and this one lives in a pot in a sunny sheltered spot by a wall. I made a number of studies of this tree when it was laden with ripe fruit and unfazed by the heat during the hot summer of 2022. It is float mounted but not framed. The chop mark beneath the signature means Purity.
