Study of a Cheese Plant
During the early days of lockdown, I made studies of the plants that grew in my studio. One of them was a Monstera Deliciosa – cheese plant – with a new leaf uncurling complete with holes! It is painted using black Sumi ink on Japanese Washi paper and the chop mark beneath the signature means Painting Brings Peace. This ink painting is float mounted and framed in natural Ash.
