This White Clematis thrived in a shady place at the end of the garden. I recorded its elegant features, how the leaves changed colour from the red tinged green to dark green as the spring turned to summer and then back to red and brown in the autumn
Size: 42 cm x 56 cm
It is painted on fine mulberry paper, using black Sumi and coloured mineral inks. It was then float mounted and framed in a natural ash frame.
The chop placed beneath the signature means graceful.
